Anyone interested in training to become a Medical Assistant, Medical Biller/Coder, Massage Therapist, or Pharmacy Technician should plan to attend. Career Training Academy Graduates Return to Teach

It is an amazing compliment to a school when a former student comes back to teach at their alma mater. Career Training Academy has the honor of having 11 alumni from the massage and medical programs sharing their knowledge with today’s students. These instructors have a wide range of experience in their fields and look forward to relating both the curriculum as well as their real life experiences in the classroom every day.
Career Training Academy would like to recognize Sandy DiPerna, Erin Albert, Matthew Sober, Adam DeFlorio, Karen Polakovic, Jennifer DeBlasio, Tina Boyer, Rebecca Roditis, Kristen Rusiewicz and Jean Capretti for taking the information they learned at Career Training Academy many years ago and coming back to share their knowledge and passion with our students today!

CTA Massage Students visit Woodlands Spa at Nemacolin

Massage students from Career Training Academy attended a field trip to the Woodlands Spa at Nemacolin on Tuesday April 20th, 2010. The spa staff graciously demonstrationed services including body wraps, full body exfoliations and the Turkish bath. Each student had the chance to walk in Nemacolin's famous "Waterpath" as well! Everyone had a fantastic time and really learned a lot.

Sunday May 9th from 11am-3pm Career Training Academy Massage Students will be providing chair massage at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. On Mother’s Day there is an average of 10,000 guests at the ZOO!
Mothers get free admission on May 9th, so come and join us for a little relaxation while you enjoy the zoo.
CTA named to the 2009 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll

Career Training Academy has been named to the 2009 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement.

CTA Students participated in "Presents for Patients"

Career Training Academy students participated in "Presents for Patients" at Golden Living, a local assisted living facility this holiday season. On December 17th, 2009 the students of CTA donated, wrapped, and delivered gifts to the elderly. They sat and visited with the patients for a while to bring some cheer to their holiday season. This was a wonderful example of the community service that is so important to our school, staff and students, and it was enjoyed by all.
